<title>Allah Besar: Penelitian Puitis-afektif Mazmur 86</title>

<description>Allah Besar: Penelitian Puitis-afektif Mazmur 86
Armand Barus

<title>Justice in the Book of Amos: A Reappraisal</title>

<description>Justice in the Book of Amos: A Reappraisal
Armand Barus
Across time, humanity has cried out for justice in the face of injustice. In Indonesia, justice is also affirmed as a fundamental pillar of national life in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution. Discussions of justice frequently turn to the book of Amos, yet they often concentrate primarily on social justice. This article reexamines justice in Amos through a dialogical reading of the book's literary context together with its historical, social, and religious contexts. The analysis argues that justice in Amos is multifaceted, encompassing distributive, retributive, restorative, theonomic, and mimetic dimensions. It further proposes that syncretism may be understood as a theological root of injustice because distorted relations with God are reflected in distorted human relations. Finally, the article brings Amos's vision of justice into dialogue with influential modern theories of justice in order to enrich contemporary reflection on the meaning and practice of justice.

<title>Scholar Leaders Women’s Peer Leader Forum Roundtable: A Contextualized Discussion of Women’s Spirituality</title>

<description>Scholar Leaders Women’s Peer Leader Forum Roundtable: A Contextualized Discussion of Women’s Spirituality
Casthelia Kartika
Indonesia is a vast and complex archipelago, home to over seventeen thousand islands, hundreds of ethnic groups, and a remarkable diversity of cultures and religions. Any attempt to describe “Indonesian spirituality” must therefore be approached with humility. No single expression can fully represent the lived faith of over 280 million people. Yet, from my own experience as a Christian theologian, educator, and church leader within this context, I do see certain spiritual patterns that consistently emerge. These patterns are not merely abstract ideas; they are embodied in daily life, as, indeed, spirituality understands faith as a lived journey with God for the sake of others. In this reflection, I would like to highlight three interwoven dimensions of spirituality that are especially deeply rooted in the Indonesian context.

<title>From Vision to Viability: A Seminary’s Strategic Transformation</title>

<description>From Vision to Viability: A Seminary’s Strategic Transformation
Casthelia Kartika
Many theological schools in the Majority World operate with deep commitment to ministry yet limited institutional intentionality. This article presents a case study of Amanat Agung Theological Seminary (STTAA) in Indonesia and its participation in the Scholar Leaders (SL) Vital Sustainability Initiative (VSI). The study explores how a guided coaching process enabled the seminary to move from activity-driven management toward discernment-based leadership. Through institutional self-assessment, collaborative interpretation, and strategic formation, the seminary developed a five-year strategic plan that reshaped its leadership culture, academic direction, financial sustainability efforts, and partnerships. The article also discusses implementation challenges and identifies transferable lessons for theological institutions seeking long-term sustainability. This article argues that strategic planning in theological education functions most fruitfully not as administrative management but as communal vocational discernment that shapes institutional culture.
