dc.description.abstract "Paul is big, even huge". This exclamation was spontaneousiy sounded by a scholar who studied Paul's first letter to the Corinthians as I shared with him my plan to conduct a study on Paul. This is true as James Dunn points out; "Paul was the first and greatest Christian theologian".' Unfortunately, Paul's greatness has been shown only by the study on his theology. The subject of Paul's ethics, however, has been so far neglected. If Paul's theology is big, then his ethics must be great as well since it is an integral part of Paul's grand teaching itself. It is "Paul's concern to bring to bear his vision of the truth of God revealed in Christ on the conduct and character of believers." en_US
